BloodSpell is available for download in three formats : Windows Media (WMV), Quicktime and XVid.
The film is available in two different sizes for each format. The better quality file is marked "DVD Quality". As you might expect, this video is higher quality than the "VHS Quality" equivalent. The downside is that it's bigger, so you'll have to spend longer downloading it and it will take up more room on your computer's hard disk drive.
As well as choosing between DVD and VHS quality, you'll need to choose a download format. If you're using a Mac, you probably want to download the Quicktime format, which Macintoshes will play by default. If your computer is running Windows 2000 or higher, then you'll be able to play the Windows Media version.
Windows users can also play either the Quicktime or XVid versions by downloading the appropriate software. It's a free download, and you can find it by clicking on the buttons above the download link.
The final thing you'll need is a video player. If you're running a version of Microsoft Windows, then you already have a player - Windows Media Player will do fine. Likewise, Mac users will have the Quicktime Player installed by default. If you'd prefer to download a different player, we recommend VideoLAN VLC player. It's open-source, and it's totally free. It also has the advantage of being able to play just about any video format you care to throw at it.
